CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

The PWS Asia Pacific Conference Committee invites authors to submit abstracts for presentation.

The closing date for abstract submissions is 31st May 2018.

All enquiries regarding abstracts should be emailed to conference@pws.org.au.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUBMISSIONS:

• Your abstract should be typed on a single page with font size of 12, Times New Roman with 2.5 cm margins.

• Please follow the formatting shown in the sample abstract. CLICK HERE FOR SAMPLE

• The title should be at the top of the page in all capital letters, bold type and be
centred on the page.

• Skip a line, then provide the names of the authors, with the name of the
speaker underlined.

• Skip a line, then list the affiliations of all the authors, in the same order as
they appear in the author list.

• Skip a line and begin the abstract. You may use whatever other formatting
is needed in the body of the abstract.

• If possible, please divide the abstract into labelled sections for Introduction,
Methods, Results, and Conclusions.

• You may submit multiple abstracts (please number them), but be prepared
to present all that are accepted.

• Please save in a format readable by MSWord.

• Use “save as” to save your abstract using your first and last name as the document title.

• Please send an e-mail to conference@pws.org.au if you have problems
with the form, or if you do not have access to Microsoft Word.

• Please also send a cover email or letter with each abstract including the
following information for the presenting author:

• Name
• Mailing address
• Telephone number
• Fax number
• E-mail address
• If you have a strong preference for slide talk or poster

Notification of acceptance will be provided by 30th June 2018. Depending upon the number of submissions, there will be both platform and poster presentations .
